I explore and discover the endless diversity of the Nooscape through an intuitive process of sitting with an open mind and sketching whatever prompts me to begin. The creatures and subjects gradually take form much like a photograph developing in a dark room. What results are static snapshots of mystical creatures in surreal landscapes captured in a state of symbolic and metaphorical relationships.

Because this wilderness emerges from deep within me, it is a manifestation of my life’s journey through trauma and healing, both integrated as complimentary forces that shape the Nooscape. Nothing is AI generated or digitally rendered. I work with the mixed media of watercolor, ink, pencil, and acrylic to create colorful pieces that are interconnected by the rainbow, representing the full potential and diversity of experiential existence and the hope that light brings to the darkness.
